O LORD, Thou being The LORD that Is The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, and of Moses, do say unto one of the mightiest of Thy angels,
Go through the midst of Ibadanland and through the midst of Yorubaland, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the evil and the cunning and the affliction and the persecution with which Yorubaland destroys the life of Ikoro Iyineleda.
And to another of Thy mightiest angels, do say in the hearing of Ikoro Iyineleda, O LORD that Is God of Moses,
Go ye after him through Yorubaland, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity:
Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin in the Ibadan that Ikoro Iyineleda knows as Ikadan.
